One day, whilst sitting in his kitchen, where he has most of his best ideas, our owner Chris decided that he would like to open a burger restaurant with a difference… Chris wanted a burger restaurant that made everything by hand, using only the freshest and finest ingredients. In 2006, along with his two brothers, Chris found the perfect location for their first family-run restaurant at Brindleyplace, in his hometown of Birmingham, and so handmade burger Co. was born. Birmingham fell in love with our range of fresh, handmade and pressed burgers and as handmade burger Co. Brindleyplace grew, so did the business as the second restaurant at Touchwood, Solihull opened in 2007. We have continued to grow with our newest restaurants opening in Southampton, Manchester and Glasgow with more planned in 2015. As the love for our burgers continues to spread, we’re determined to keep telling the handmade burger Co. story and bringing our tasty handmade burgers to more locations across the UK. We’re always looking for new locations and so if you want us in your hometown, let us know!
