Meram Restaurant has opened its first restaurant in Amsterdam East in 1999. Meram opened its second office in Rotterdam West in 2006. In 2009 Meram expanded its brand with Meram Lounge in Amsterdam Southeast. A year later the fourth restaurant was opened in Rotterdam South. Another year later in 2011 Meram opened its fifth restaurant in Amsterdam West. Meram had the pleasure to open Meram Cafe in 2012, this is the sixth restaurant and is based in Amsterdam East. The way Meram Restaurant covering Turkish cuisine and hospitality shares with her guests is unique in the Netherlands. Besides a large variety of authentic Turkish cuisine an evening at Meram also guarantee genuine hospitality. The name Meram comes from a region in the province of Konya in central Anatolia. The region Meram is known for its beautiful landscape. No wonder it is a popular place for many to unwind. The meaning of the word Meram stands for a wish or desire. With the Meram experience these wishes and desires are answered, the name realizes well what its purpose is. Meram strives with its innovations to be an example for the restaurant industry. Meram is in constant contact with craftsmen in Turkey, which exercises this profession with heart and soul for over 50 years.
